The citizen of the year is none other than chambers’ own Stephanie Hawkins, who can always be found helping -out in every food stand—whether it be for the homecoming or for her children’s booster groups or for anything at the fairgrounds and or a mixture of. This now leads to recognizing the 2025 Grand Marshall, Shannon Lawrence, who has said over and again with pride how very happy she is to have been born and raised in West Lafayette, and how she knows her daddy is looking down on her with pure joy

Ridgewood Middle School students were chosen to be part of Team Tressel’s Fitness Challenge video—all part of the Governor’s Healthy Ohio initiative.
The long time, OSU National Champion football coach, now Lt. Governor, has geared a program toward junior high students with three tier level goals for their minds and bodies.
