Marc didn’t just influence skateboarding. He influenced how we thought about style, art, filmmaking, and individuality. His voice and perspective were completely his own, but will forever stay with all of us.

As we all reflect on Marc Johnson’s incredible impact on skateboarding, humor, creativity, and the generations he inspired, here’s a look back at his part from “Best of 411” in 1997.
