I have never seen so much division over a kayak that has been made to accommodate a specific niche of anglers.
The whole "is it a kayak or a boat?" narrative is really missing the point.
There are a ton of more expensive kayaks that do not fit the needs of the average person (including myself).
My point is that we all just need to see it for what it is and appreciate any company that pushes the envelope without shunning it because it's not the kayak for us.
ICAST is also a fishing expo and not a kayak specific one. Obviously, the products brought to ICAST will be fishing centered.
Maybe I just appreciate nice things even if they really aren't something that personally suits me.
