Day 37 of the round 2️⃣ 👏🏽 just got my workout done - 3miles ✅
Let me start by saying that i feel completely unqualified to give any advise but… Lately I’ve gotten a lot of DMs of ppl wanting to know about my journey and any advise on how to get started… ect… I Always hesitate bc like I said I don’t feel qualified —- I’ve been battling obesity and my relationship with food and body all my life 😮💨
With that said … keep it simple. Just make ONE change at a time- they add up. Also don’t wait till tomorrow… just do that ONE thing then add on to it. Also have someone to keep you accountable 👏🏽 and Most importantly stick to it 👏🏽 — bc at the end of the day the only person responsible for you is you 🤷🏻♀️ —- no one is coming to save you —- just you!
Also don’t be afraid to put you first. Join a gym if you want, see a nutritionist if you want, get the weight loss surgery if you want, get on a glp1 if you want, join WW (or any weight loss program) if you want, hire a personal trainer if you want, order the pre cooked meal plans if you want, delete uber eats if you want, join a support group if you want, etc..—- what ever you do dont quit on yourself— do what ever it takes to take control over your life. You only get one life …make the best of it.
Also shout out to my forever supportive husband if it wasn’t for him encouraging, pushing me (in a good way don’t get your panties in a bunch), loving me thru thick and thin, being there with me thru the highs and lows of this journey,… basically being my rock through it all— love him. Love you AB … struck the lottery when I married you. ❤️
