THE ADVENTURES OF LITTLE ART

As the two moved towards the flickering flames, they passed under the rune covered gate. Almost immediately the presence was felt. An eerie, almost mist like cloak settled upon their souls.

In a moment of casual panic the pair collapsed to the floor of this sacred meadow. An existing, unrecognizable power possessed them both. All of their angst dissipated like a morning dew as the sun rises in the morning.

Unbeknownst to the pair, their lives would be altered the rest of their days. . .

Information about the possible escape from the clutches of Canada and its fine Citizens the Chief Officers of AE Cruisader Investments.

After several weeks on the run from just north of Glacier National Park across our neighbors to the north's Vancouver Island. Communications were lost for more than 120 hours as they "snuck through the woods and mountain tops." according to witnesses to frightened to give this reporter their names.

There were some reports of sighting a black Impreza steaming across one of the fjords of the big island towards US territories and possible freedom.

IT'S NOT ALWAYS EASY TO STAY AHEAD OF THE NEWS

It's been a while since we went offline and now return. Big brother social media is trying to run us out of business due to our constant badgering of local political politicians.

Keeping up with the current events of Neoga, Iowa is difficult enough with all the events and urban renewal in our fine community.

Take for instance the new Neoga Community Gathering and Party Center and Complex down on the south end of town. It's coming along nicely (see photo 3). After the tragic fire and loss of the previous center last year (which is still under arson investigation) it is a wonderful site seeing the new structure rise from the ashes. Sort of like Phoenix but with chickens.

Staying with the theme of chickens... It seems that the hoodlums of the south portion of town are still up to their heinous and illegal activities. Another attempted carjacking took place on or around the 31st of March. (see photo 1)

Luckily the assailant was held down by the crime victim until the authorities could arrive and haul her off to jail. She is a repeat offender and will be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Our honorable Mayor spoke highly of the private citizen's quick reactions when the perp jump into his car. "A true hero in my mind" stated the Mayor in a recent interview on national news networks. "A good guy with big shoes stops a bad guy (or gal) with smaller feet" he went onto say.

In other news...

A recent event proves that miracles do occur in our lives. Recently while walking through the northern lands of Neoga, a citizen's canine survived a brutal attack by the rare refugus oppugnatiotis arborisis {falling attacking tree(s)}. (see photo 2)

Quick action by the mighty dog's counter attack not only saved its life, but possibly the lives of loved ones that were traveling through the north lands with her.

"Only by the sure aplomb ex*****on by our friend were we spared a brutal and possibly deadly bashing" reported one of the two traveling companions

BREAKING NEWS - THE LOCAL FAMILY SEEKING MISSING PET

The L. Art Ackermann III family is requesting assistance in locating their missing pet sheep Clem. Last seen in their front yard on Monday while staring at the neighbors cat. "Clem is on special medication and sometimes becomes confused" stated one of Ackermann's neighbors. "He will end up about anywhere. Heck. He once showed up in my basement watching the Cyclones game with our pet duck" he continued.
The Ackermanns would appreciate the entire community to keep an eye out for the big pet. The attached photo was taken Monday, the last time he was seen.

BREAKING NEWS - THE MAYOR RELEASES A SPECIAL HOLIDAY MESSAGE

"Happy Halloween citizens of Neoga and our surrounding suburbs" stated the Mayor at a presser held at the Neoga Conference and Party Center earlier today. "Once again I come before my constituents requesting support for the newest regulations that take effect tomorrow." As most know, these regulations were put in place to "hamper the growth and expansion of the bovine population in our fine community."
"I realize that most of Neoga is OK with occasional cow meandering through our streets. I agree, the Mayor continued, they are very cute as individuals. However, when they are allowed to group together, they tend to evolve into subversive revolutionaries."
He then went on to remind his townsfolk of riots and looting events of the past. "I know that we were all very happy when the large red Angus bull was detached from the county by federal law enforcement. Those were daunting times." It did quiet down for months after he left. The paper reported on many of his heinous activities.
The editorial staff would like to encourage all Neoga residents to get behind the Mayor in an effort to extinguish the threats of these anarchists.
