Stream in NOW for Light's last show on WHidbeyAir. We'll miss this great DJ who's got fantastic musical taste! www.whidbeyair.org
The end for WhidbeyAir has come. It is with great sadness, and many memories, that we announce we will go off air on Dec 31st.
It's been a blast in so many ways. It was a big idea and every volunteer who's given their time and creative juices has done so with generousity. We've made new friends and laughed with old ones, and we're sorry to be closing the studio.
To all those who've supported the station with financial contributions, we've loved and appreciate you every day and will continue to do so! You made it all possible!
To those who've donated in-kind equipment, volunteered to help with the equipment and other wise given us time and energy in technology, thank you. So many of us are not techies and your help was invaluable.
Here's to all those who'll carry on with new projects, and areas to put your creative energy, all of your fellow volunteers are here and cheering you on!
We will continue to use this page, as the year comes to an end, to share more photos, memories and thanks.
Hosts will cease production of their shows Dec. 1st. We are so sad, but hopeful for the future. Our podcasting hosts will continue to do so from the comfort of their own homes.
