🔥High Fire Danger Remains Across North Carolina!

🚫🔥A Statewide Burn Ban Remains in Place.

‼️Do. Not. Burn.

🚒 The N.C. Forest Service reports that as of today, there has been over 626 new fires over the last 10 days, with over 114 occurring statewide since the burn ban took effect on Saturday.

👏 Thankfully as of tonight, the vast majority of these fires have been quickly controlled by our state's firefighters, park rangers, and state forest service rangers. Thank you for your bravery and hard work! The Old North State is proud of you!

❗️Do your part- do not burn outdoors. If you smoke, extinguish your ci**rs or ci******es in an appropriate manner. Report anyone burning outside to 911 so firefighters can extinguish it before it becomes a wildfire!
