Straight from City of Covina 🍊

The City of Covina is seeking a qualified operator to operate and manage a rock climbing facility located within a recreational center. The recreation center, Covina Recreation Village, is located at 640-680 N Citrus Avenue and is currently under construction.

Interested operators are required to sign up for the mandatory site visit scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Submissions are due by Thursday, October 22, 2026.

BIG NEWS for first-time homebuyers in Covina!

The City of Covina is rolling out a Down Payment Assistance Program that could give qualified first-time buyers up to $40,000 toward their down payment and closing costs with ZERO interest and NO monthly payments required.

Stay in the home and follow the program rules for 45 years? The entire loan gets forgiven. 🙌

Because funding is limited, eligible applicants will be selected through a random lottery so getting your paperwork ready early matters.

⚠️ It still needs a final vote at Tuesday’s City Council meeting, but it’s expected to pass!
