❤️🛣️ WHAT A WONDERFUL TWO-STOP STRETCH ON THE HIGHWAY 64 WITH BIG AL – 2026 SPRING & SUMMER ROAD TOUR! 🛣️❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make Stop #5 at the Virginia 250 Celebration Carnival and Stop #6 at the Ronceverte River Festival such incredible successes!

From meeting listeners and visitors to sharing stories, taking photos, and broadcasting live, these two events showcased the very best of our communities. The Virginia 250 Celebration Carnival brought three nights of rides, games, food, entertainment, and family fun to Covington, while the Ronceverte River Festival delivered another unforgettable weekend filled with music, community spirit, and memories that will last a lifetime.

A special thank you to the Covington Parks & Recreation Department for bringing the Virginia 250 Celebration Carnival to our community and to the Ronceverte River Festival Committee for allowing the Highway 64 with BIG AL – 2026 Spring & Summer Road Tour to be part of another outstanding festival. We can't wait to see you again next year for the 40th Ronceverte River Festival!

Both events benefited from additional advertising and promotion through the Road Tour while also helping spread the life-saving message of contacting 811 at least 48 hours before you dig. Best of all, this added exposure and promotion came at no cost to the events themselves.

Special thanks also go out to our partners Virginia 811 and West Virginia 811, along with our Road Tour sponsor Badger Daylighting, for making the 2026 Spring & Summer Road Tour possible.

And thank you to each event's organizers, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, entertainers, public safety personnel, and the thousands of attendees who helped make these two stops such a tremendous success.

Good news!

Festival organizers have announced that all Saturday events will continue as scheduled, including the 7:00 AM Fishing Derby.

After tonight's postponements and cleanup efforts at Island Park, organizers say they are looking forward to welcoming everyone back tomorrow for a full day of Ronceverte River Festival fun.
