🐻💤 *yawn* Just woke up out of hibernation and wanted to give some overdue updates to all our friends here at the URNFC-
We have continued to follow up with the SBA, and while they aren't able to provide much more detail, several complaints were filed and examined, and, for some reason, it sounds like lately Johnathan has been desperate to come up with a whole lot of cash quick! While he did move to TN, it seems like he didn't last very long, and his new townhome in TN is already back up for rent. Watch out, Stockbridge, I hear he's in town! I haven't found any legal action by the SBA on these six-figure loans which would have begun repayment awhile back, so I think we all can connect the dots on why somebody might be so desperate to raise cash by any means. Truly despicable what has occurred and seeing the weak men (Robert and Kenny) who refused to protect the church from evil. They'll live with that shame for the rest of their lives.
As for the money Johnathan owed me, I have been repaid in full (he knew better) but unfortunately we continue to hear several even more recent stories of Johnathan's antics that I wanted to highlight for all to see, particularly this heart-breaking story of Mrs. Beverly Hagen, who recently visited us on our last post:
"I'm 88 years old and in three months will be 89 and they nicely con me out of $9,000 plus $100 Johnathan told me they had no food on the table to feed the children so I went to Walmart and sent them $100 to put food on the table for the kids. They told me that Shane Vaughn had treated them so bad and had done so many evil things to them that they need to get out. They meeting with Shane Vaughn was after I gave them $9,000, they needed $10,000 that's what Johnathan said he needed to leave. I was committed to the $10,000. They were to have a meeting with Shane to tell him they were leaving. They had the meeting. I asked Johnathan if Shane had committed to giving them any money and he said no. He committed to paying for the U-Haul truck. That was it, nothing else said. I said to Johnathan after he was to preached that last night and the church would have this fellowship dinner for them. I said to Johnathan call me after the dinner, let me know if Shane gives you more. I never got that call. He was tired and just went to bed and would call me the next morning. I never got that call. When evening came still no call. I call him and the daughter said they were out shopping for a car. I wasn't happy. Johnathan called me when he got home. I asked Johnathan did Shane give you any money? Yes, he gave me $4,000 for the month of August, mind you they were leaving on the first of Aug. so Shane graced them for that month. That's what Shane paid they each month. Now listen to this, Shane also gave them money to come to tabernacles and also committed for them to come there to the church two days a month for Shane and his wife to go vacationing. Also Johnathan and Tiffany had jobs they were going to. I was never told this by Johnathan. Johnathan has a church in Nashville. Phone no longer works and has now been transferred to another number. I was blocked first to there email address, but I get no response. Johnathan was to give me an itemized statement of how he used the money. I have sent message to Tiffany on Facebook no response. All I was asking for was receipt so I could take the nice and wonderful money that I so graced them with. They now live in this 3 levels luxurious apartment for $5,000 I've been told. // As I read all this stuff of Johnathan Nash how corrupt he is. I am very angry. I have always helped people. But to have a con artist as Johnathan and Tiffany do what they have done to others is a disgrace. Also Johnathan got $5,000 for a loan for Tiffany's ring that Johnathan hock. Total my $9,000 plus Shane's $4.000 plus $5,000 =$18,000 plus other money to come to Tabernacles which was only little over 2 months away; probably $10, 20 thousand. They walked away $ 28,000, $30,000. I heard it was more."
Truly despicable that somebody would prey on the kindness of a 88 year old woman, who clearly has a generous heart and stepped up to try to protect another family with children. He may have dodged legal ramifications for now, but I don't know how a man could sleep at night after doing such evil, or even look his own family in the eye. Hopefully he looks back on this in shame one day, but I'm not holding out much hope he will before it is too late. If you do end up pursuing this legally, we can help you with figuring out where to serve him any legal papers, though I already know of at least $20k of debt his mother was served papers with just the other day.
Dark stuff, and, frankly, depressing to even learn men we've known for so many years become so wicked... That said, Mrs. Hagen, others know your intentions were pure, and it's inspiring to see somebody who still so clearly cares about others in a selfless way that people like Johnathan and Robert will probably never truly understand.
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." We here at the Fan Club want to make sure your intentions to help others don't go to waste. We learned that you used to be a school-teacher for decades, and, being inspired by your acts of kindness, we would like to pass that good on into the world and have decided to make a couple small donations to local schools here in Covington, GA, both where >3/4 of students come from low-income households, dedicated in your name, to honor your good intentions.
First is South Salem Elementary in Covington, GA, where the Fan Club has completed funding through DonorsChoose on purchasing a dozen books to encourage children to learn math, expected to impact 150 students. Second is Rocky Plains Elementary School, also in Covington, GA, where the Fan Club has provided 100% of the funding to provide journals, snacks, and other supplies to an after-school mentorship program of a group of 35 girls in 4th and 5th grade focused on teaching girls to use journaling and writing to express their thoughts positively. Thank you for being a kind inspiration to us all, Mrs. Hagen.
Until next time,
S.B.
