I’m getting ready for the next “Cookbook Book Club” with and . The Mercantile Library has a nice collection of early edition Joy of Cooking and another cookbook by Irma Rombauer I was not familiar with. Join me on September 23rd for a cooking class and discussion about this iconic cookbook, now in it’s 9th Edition, at the Baker Hunt teaching kitchen in Covington, KY. I’ve loved this Crisp Corn Flapjack recipe since I was a kid. I have tried to perfect the no egg version of this recipe many times over the years, but never succeeded in getting the lacy texture until now!
