From the escape goats to night markets to public art, there are so many Katie Meyer memories that make us smile. Spotted Yeti is just one of many businesses fortunate to have been touched by Katie's passion, generosity, and tireless efforts. Our home in Covington, and our connection to so many incredible neighbors, is, in large part, thanks to her.
Molly is deeply grateful to have served on Katie's Renaissance Covington Board for five years, working together to help revitalize our urban core. Katie’s impact at RCOV was recognized nationally in 2017 with the Main Street America Award, but anyone who knew her understands her influence went far beyond any single honor. Her legacy can be seen in so many ways throughout our community.
We’ve been revisiting one of our favorite collaborations, Curb’d, from 2015, and it’s impossible not to smile while watching her. Katie was real, creative, and such a natural leader. She believed in originality, inclusivity, and making this community better for everyone. And she did exactly that.
Let's honor Katie by carrying that forward. Support local, celebrate the quirkiness of the Cov, and help work towards a more welcoming and inclusive society.
We're all better because of her.
