Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to the dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

I don't know about you, but I take delight in knowing God's word is active and alive..
So often, we can read a verse and it takes on a whole new meaning, or maybe an even greater meaning than the last time we read it.
Why, because as your growth in relationship allows our Heavenly Father to reveal more.

Now on to the second part.
That is a gut punch for me at times. He knows the attitudes on my heart and he will sure fire remind me when my heart isn't right.
Yes I feel that conviction like a knife cutting through the ugliness that I have allowed to creep in. It's important to keep your everything set on and in Christ.

What are your expectations from God?

Why do I ask this you may wonder?
It is simple, sort of, kind of, ok not really.
Of course, all expect Big things from God.
Yet do we really expect them to actually happen.

You can not expect this without having the faith to actually receive those blessings.
A little back story, Jesus went to his hometown and began to teach, many heard and were amazed, yet many took offense by what he said and did. Because of this the word states
4. Jesus said to them, "A prophet (a reference to someone with God's message) is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home." 5. He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people, and heal them. 6. He was amazed that their lack of faith. Mark 6:4-6

See Jesus needs us to have faith in order to perform the miracles we seek.

What are you sharing with others?

Mark 5:19 Jesus did not let him (the demon possessed man that Jesus restored) but Jesus said, "Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you."

You need to fill the voids that are created once Jesus removes the impurities. Fill it with Jesus. The more that you allow Jesus to fill you, the smaller the spaces are for Satan to enter.

Then what do you do with that? Share what Jesus has removed and share how spending more time with him fills you. Spend time with Jesus and those impurities and junk are removed.

Yes, Jesus Prayed,so it is important that you do!

Mark 1:35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

Don't ever think that prayer isn't important.
This morning as I am reading the word and researching the scriptures that are referenced, I go to Colossians 4:2

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

As this scripture jumped out to me, I really gave thought to it.
It is almost simple yet very deep.
We should always be in thanksgiving for everything that God has done, is doing and will be doing for us.
We should pray for our eyes to see, our ears to hear, and our heart to feel everything that God is for us.

What is the definition of Light?
Webster says....
*the natural agent that stimulates sight and makes things visible

*understanding of a problem or mystery; enlightenment

Matthew 5:16
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Light has the ability to change the environment.

Change the wording to God deeds...
(As an example of a new character)
Do good works as God works through you for others to see what God has done for you and now through you.

Be the light that changes the environment you are living in for God's glory

Yep, you read that correctly. It is written in his word.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and all Judea and Samaria, and the ends of the earth.
Acts 1:8
