Last year was particularly challenging for my family due to my son's complex needs. He has Autism, ADHD, and sensory issues, which can trigger intense emotional responses. From October to the end of the school year, his irregular attendance posed significant difficulties for both him and my full-time job. I struggled with stress, feeling overwhelmed and mentally drained, juggling work, numerous appointments, and family responsibilities. Ultimately, my job required me to make a difficult choice, prioritizing my son's needs over my professional obligations. Without an alternative caregiver, I became the primary caregiver, leading to financial strain with only one income. However, discovering a flexible, daily-pay opportunity requiring just two hours of work per day has provided a sense of hope and financial stability.
