Eight years ago, this was a defining moment in Oakley’s journey. When we got home, he went straight to the vet to make sure he hadn’t ingested anything and thankfully got a full all-clear.

It took time, patience, and trust-building after that — and today he is safe, loved, and thriving.

And when I say this dog saved my life, I mean it literally.
He woke my husband up the night I went septic and became unresponsive. If he hadn’t, I wouldn’t be here.

This is just part of Oakley’s story — and I’ll always tell it with gratitude. 🤍🐾
