The good folks at Slipstream Records and Torn & Frayed have collected a wealth of demo recordings by Hal Paris of Country Funk from the early 70s that proves that he’s one of the most unfairly overlooked fathers of the Cosmic American Music world. Check it out on the blog (link in bio).

Jersey’s own The Royal Arctic Institute’s set was so chill, it just made you want to lean back and soak in the ambiance of the space around us. This track in particular made you feel like you were lying on a beach watching waves slowly crashing onto the shore. You immediately forgot you were inside a building in early December.
