Hello everyone and good morning! Hope your weekend is off to a good start.

Publishing today is the July edition of the Action newsletter. In this edition, we highlight the best moments from the 2024-25 season, noting accomplishments in both league and tournament competition.

Also, a quick update on the All-Area selections. We are extending the deadline until Wednesday, July 16. We have received some submissions to date, but want to give some more people more time to get their applications in. But July 16 is the latest we’re going.

Please message either Action or New England Bowling to apply.

Hello everyone and good morning!

Hope everyone's weekend has gone well so far. First and foremost, we want to wish a special Happy Father's Day to all the dads and those who are father-figures today!!!! Hope your day today will be a special one.

A little sooner than expected, but here is the June edition of the Action newsletter. Once again, youth events are in the spotlight, this time with the annual New England Youth Open in town.

Also, as a reminder, we and our friends at New England Bowling are still taking nominations for our All-Area Teams from now until July 11! Send along info on who you think should be recognized as among the area's best bowlers!

Hello everyone and good evening!

Hope you all are doing well. First big announcement is once again, Action Newsletter and New England Bowling are partnering to create our second annual All-Area Teams!

Last year, we debuted the teams where we selected 16 adults and 11 juniors based on their accomplishments from the past year. We're doing that again this year - and again, that figure includes "MVPs" for both the adults and juniors.

We will unveil the team selections in the August edition of the Action newsletter. It will include small write-ups on each player chosen, and a full story for each MVP.

With that, we are asking the bowling community to send in their nominations of those seeking eligibility for the All-Area Teams to both myself (James Bessette) and Matt Hansen of New England Bowling via email and/or direct message to either of us individually.

James' email is [email protected] and Matt's is [email protected]. We are accepting nominations between now and July 11, so get those suggestions in to us soon.

If you have any questions, please reach out to us and we'll answer them as best as possible.

And lastly, the June edition of Action will come out on June 22. Sorry again for the extended delay as I'm still getting back into the swing of things after returning from USBC Nationals.

Hope your weekend is off to a great start. Here is the May edition of the Action newsletter! Along with normal tournament coverage, this month's edition spotlights local junior bowlers who dominated in national events both held in Rhode Island and out west.

Also, as a reminder, our June edition will be published a little later in the month as the Action staff will be competing in the USBC Open Championships on Memorial Day weekend.

Hello everyone, good morning!

Hope you’re all having a nice weekend so far. Here is the April edition of Action.

This issue spotlights the annual Rhode Island Invitational, new inductees into the Southeastern Massachusetts USBC Hall of Fame and the final - and thrilling - week of the RI Junior Travel League.

A quick programming note: The May edition of Action will come out early in the month, but the June edition will likely be out in the middle of that month. Reason being, we’ll be at the USBC Open Championships during Memorial Day weekend and production will be slightly delayed as a result.

Hello everyone and good morning!

Hope you all had a great holiday season and your weekend is off to a good start.

Here is the December-January edition of the action newsletter! Along with tournament coverage, including the recent PBA regional event at EP Lanes, the edition also highlights Nate Purches being named PBA national rookie of the year as well.

We will be going forward back to a monthly schedule for the remainder of the year, with the February edition spotlighting the upcoming RI USBC Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
