Ocean breeze and West Coast peace 🌊

We stayed in Northern California’s hidden gem, Crescent City while we explored Redwood National Park and surrounding areas.

While we were in the area we stayed at the cutest inn called Ocean View Inn. We had a wonderful room with an amazing view of the ocean from our deck. Highly recommend!

Hiking the Waterfall Trail in White Tank Mountain Regional Park brings you up close to petroglyphs dating back thousands of years, through some amazing mountain scenery, and if you are lucky enough to be there after a desert rain to a beautiful waterfall at the end of the trail.

We were not lucky the day we were there to see the waterfall but everything else checked the box of a great hike! We also hiked another loop trail that is just off the waterfall trail. That trail was nice, sort of flat, and wandered you through more of the desert landscape.

If you are near Phoenix and wanting a somewhat easy hiking trip check out Waterfall Trail. Maybe your timing will be better than ours 😄
