🚨 The US Forest Service has proposed repealing the 2001 Roadless Rule, putting 58M acres at risk—including San Bernardino National Forest 🌲

This threatens 🐻 wildlife, 💧 water, 🪶 tribal resources, 🎣 recreation, mountain communities 🏔️, and tourism 🛶.

More roads = more wildfire 🔥 and fragmented habitat.

Repealing the Roadless Rule would have lasting impacts on the San Bernardino National Forest. Iconic places like the Rim of the World Scenic Byway, Deep Creek Hot Springs, Pyramid Peak/San Jacinto Wilderness, and the Cucamonga Wilderness could face road-building and development pressures.

The proposal to sell off 3 million acres of public lands was removed from the Senate budget reconciliation package due to the Senate parliamentarian’s ruling. The fight continues!

Senator Mike Lee has submitted a new proposal that would still include some form of public lands sell-off...ignoring the American people who have spoken up in opposition!

We still have a long fight ahead, and we must continue to reject these proposals to privatize public lands. Keep calling, emailing, and writing to your lawmakers!
