We have received email from several listeners lately regarding excessive "buffering" in our app. This problem appears to be specific to iPhone 6, running iOS 8, while streaming over a cellular data connection (versus being connected to a wireless network).

If you are experiencing this issue with our Android or iOS applications and you don't fit the known profile above, please let us know. We want to provide our developer with as much information as possible to find a fix. Thank you!

We wanted to let you know that Abiding Radio - Bluegrass Hymns is now online! For those that appreciate bluegrass style instrumental hymns, we think you'll love the collection we've put together. We are currently featuring artists such as Bible Truth Music, Craig Duncan, Mark Burchfield, and Erin Bates. If you know of artists that you think we should consider, please let us know.

We will be releasing updates to our iOS and Android apps that will include this new station.

We are considering whether we should develop custom applications for iOS and Android based smart devices and wanted to get your input. If you own a device with either of these operating systems, would an Abiding Radio application be of interest to you?

In concept, the app would provide access to all Abiding Radio streams with support for Airplay devices and would indicate the currently playing artist and song along with cover art. Let us know what you think and if you have any additional suggestions.

Hello again! I wanted to take a moment to clarify my last post and especially, to apologize for confusion that it caused.

What I was really trying to determine is whether we should add a dedicated channel for the bluegrass style hymns such as those performed by Bible Truth Music, Byron Foxx, etc. Several of these songs are currently playing on both the Instrumental and Sacred streams.

I mistakenly classified this genre as Southern Gospel which was incorrect. I have subsequently been educated as to what Southern Gospel style music is and can say without reservation that we will not add this genre to Abiding Radio, ever.

We have received feedback from those that would prefer to hear more of the conservative bluegrass style hymns while also hearing from those that don't particularly care for it. My intent was to solicit input as to whether we should consider forming a channel that would be dedicated to southern style, conservative bluegrass hymns.

For those that aren't aware, Abiding Radio is for us, a family ministry. We assumed stewardship from Brookside Baptist Church last August and are solemnly committed to maintaining a Christ-honoring and reverend standard for the music that we play. Hold us to it!!!

We appreciate the grace you have extended us as we learn the ropes. As for me, I am going to have my wife review my posts BEFORE I submit them going forward :)
