🥀 The Rose was Hidden but found.
Its thorns became the needle.
The ink from its petals.
It left its mark on the world.
And it was art. 🎨

I got to hang out with the crew at for their Friday the 13th event. Always a fun time, great conversation, and dope vibes.

So, years ago when I was still in HS I always dreamed about publishing a book of my poetry. In my late 20s, when I got a camera in my hands, I wanted to see my photos in a gallery one day.

To think, I've done both. I'm so incredibly thankful and so genuinely elated to have experienced both of these things. I'm grateful for this amazing job and the really dope crew of creatives I get to work with .

This piece is called "Inspired By: Gordon Parks" I was so moved by this piece I did everything I could to recreate it and give it my own spin. To think, I had to go all the way to London to get this shot 😅.

I knew it was THE shot when I hit the shutter and the clouds opened up.

Special shout outs to: elisabeth & for organizing this incredible event.

for being an incredible human and a phenomenal model for me.

& to all those who helped get me to where I am today, I'm truly just so grateful. I wouldn't be here without you all ❤️🙌🏾.
