Tomorrow, America celebrates Independence Day.

We'll gather with family and friends. We'll enjoy cookouts, parades, and fireworks. We'll celebrate the freedoms that make our nation so special.

As we do, let's take a moment to remember the men and women who are helping protect those freedoms today.

While many of us are looking forward to the holiday weekend, thousands of our service members are spending it far from home. They'll miss family dinners, backyard barbecues, and watching fireworks with the people they love.

Their sacrifice deserves more than our gratitude. It deserves our remembrance.

Today, wear red. Say a prayer for their safety. Remember their families who are waiting patiently for their return.

To every service member serving around the world, thank you for your courage, your commitment, and your sacrifice. Because of you, America remains the land of the free.

Happy Independence Day, and thank you to all who have worn the uniform, especially those who are currently deployed.

Some of the strongest people you'll ever meet are fighting battles you cannot see.

PTSD affects Veterans, active duty military, first responders, healthcare workers, survivors of violence, and countless others whose lives changed after a traumatic event.

If you live with PTSD, please know this.

You are not weak.
You are not alone.
Your experiences matter.
Your life matters.

To the families and friends who walk beside someone with PTSD, thank you. Your patience, understanding, and steady support often make a bigger difference than you realize.

Today is a reminder to replace judgment with compassion, to listen more than we speak, and to encourage those who are struggling to reach out for help when they're ready.

Let's look out for one another. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is simply remind someone that they don't have to carry the weight alone.

Happy Mother’s Day to the women who hold families together through strength, sacrifice, patience, and love.

To the moms raising kids while carrying the weight of the world quietly on their shoulders. Thank you.

To the military moms holding down the home front during deployments. To the first responder moms working long shifts and still showing up for bedtime stories, school events, and the little moments that matter most. To the grandmothers, stepmoms, adoptive moms, foster moms, and women who stepped into a mother’s role when someone needed them most. You matter more than words can explain.

A lot of people see the big moments. Very few see the exhaustion, the worry, the sleepless nights, the constant giving, and the silent prayers behind the scenes.

Today is about honoring all of it.

I hope today brings you some peace, some appreciation, and a reminder that the impact you make reaches farther than you realize.
