What Did We Learn?

It’s been one hell of a ride. Ten episodes of laughs, lessons, deep dives, and stories we probably shouldn’t have told. In this season finale of Two Gregarious Guys, we’re looking back at everything that made Season 1 what it was—real, raw, hilarious, and sometimes unexpectedly emotional. We’ll talk about our favorite moments, what surprised us, what we learned about each other, and what we learned about ourselves. There’s no script, no agenda—just reflection, gratitude, and the same unfiltered honesty that’s carried us from the first mic check to now. Whether you’ve been with us from day one or you just stumbled into the chaos, this episode is our way of saying thank you—and a little preview of what’s coming next.

Toys for Tots — both locally in DuPage County and nationwide — has one mission: to bring the joy of Christmas and a message of hope to children in need.

Founded by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve in 1947, Toys for Tots began when Major Bill Hendricks and his wife Diane collected and distributed handmade dolls to less fortunate children in Los Angeles. What started as a small act of kindness soon grew into a national charitable program supported by the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, officially established in 1991.

Today, the organization collects and distributes millions of toys each year to children across America — ensuring that no child is forgotten during the holiday season.

Locally, the DuPage County Toys for Tots chapter, coordinated by dedicated volunteers like Rita Kollias, works tirelessly to collect donations, organize distribution drives, and partner with community organizations to reach families in need. Each toy collected represents more than a gift — it’s a symbol of compassion, unity, and the true spirit of giving.

216 The Net - Real Life Internet Radio

As an internet radio station, our antenna is, well, the internet. That makes us kind of super tiny fish in all the oceans. Even still, reach reach more than 150,000+ listeners every month. Most of our listeners (80%) are right here in the Chicago/Milwaukee region.

Even though we’re ‘internet radio’, we’re more like your local station. We broadcast and stream from McHenry County, Illinois; the super far northwest burbs of Chicagoland. All of our live streaming shows and show hosts, like ‘You’re Home with Bremer & Jones’ (pictured here) feature local hosts. Dawn Bremer & Kent Jones know our local community through and through.

In fact, ‘My LoSo Lifestyle with Mary Schepp’, and other local host, supports McHenry County Farms through one of her groups right here on Facebook.

‘Uncle Pete in the Morning’, airs and streams at 6am Monday-Friday. Uncle Pete has been a McHenry County resident since 1993. That’s 27 years!
