What a turnout for this year’s escape the fireworks event!! Thursday night we gathered for good food, karaoke and AMAZING company at Citrus Lanes, in Inverness. (Ps., it was my first time seeing the remodel! Looks great! You have to check it out!)
Tonight, we continued the fun at American Legion, Post 155, in Crystal River, with a whopping, 113 in attendance.
Serious shoutout to the OH-MAZING, coordinator, Vicky Lynn Post for creating a safe haven for those who suffer from PTSD, and giving them a wonderful distraction from the fireworks. Without her, this wouldn’t be possible.
Thank you to the venues for your spaces for these events, and the staff who ALL were an absolute pleasure to work with, and those who not only donated raffle prizes to give away, but, those who also donated funds to make these events happen. We have such a FANTASTIC group of people behind the scenes who help to mold such an outstanding event every year. I am absolutely honored to be a part of it. How lucky can I be?
If any of you happened to get photos at either event, please share. I tried to get as many as I could, but I kept seeing chickens and shiny objects!

FREE LINE DANCE LESSONS

Join me tomorrow night, 6/26 for my last night at The Barrel! We’re going to dance and not cry! Lol!!

There will also be an OPEN (to the public) pool tournament as well!

Keri will be behind the bar making all your favorite drinks as well! Come say, “hello.” Come say, “see ya later,” because It’s not “goodbye!”

It’s been a fun ride and a bittersweet decision to leave, but with my new adventure, I won’t have time for both. But boy do I wish I could manage both, because The Barrel, by far, has been my favorite venue to teach at since i started teaching.😭❤️

I have been looking forward to Thursday 6/12 for almost a week! Almost. 😂

I can’t wait to see you guys at 7pm for FREE line dance lessons!! Come hungry because they have some pretty tasty burgers and with Keri behind the bar, you’re guaranteed to have the best drink ever!
