Scenes from Monterey and Big Sur! 🌊🌲🚌 Seriously this was a week to remember at Marina Dunes with Thousand Trails! (Ad)

From the magical sunsets to driving down Big Sur and exploring Carmel Valley seriously, this area is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. 🥹✨

I loved coming home to our scenic and tucked-away little campground for some stillness and even loved cozying up in the clubhouse during a rainy day. 🌧️

Wrapped another incredible stay with Valley View RV Resort! 🏔️🚌😍 Our second stay and truly one of our favorite RV resorts we’ve experienced in over 2 years on the road. I can’t get over the mountain views + the pool and amenities seriously are just 10/10 for me!

my favorite aspects of the park:
📍LOCATION: SLC, Park City + Antelope island are all so close
✨AMENITIES: The pool + hottub combo, a sauna on site + modern clubhouse and a book nook!
🏊🏼‍♀️ACTIVITIES: They always have something going on whether it’s a food truck onsite, live music or more! It’s so fun to get out and about on property!
🚌SITES: Our site was sooo spacious - I loved the grassy area, long paved sites (85ft!), plus Sterling absolutely loved being outside here:)

If you’re making your way through Utah - i HIGHLY suggest booking a stay here! It’s one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. And thank you to Valley View RV Resort for hosting us!

Camp snaps from our 2nd stay with in Truckee! 🌲✨🚌

First off we just absolutely love this location in Truckee - It’s so close to the historic downtown, the trails along the Truckee River, amazing coffee shops, plus it’s just a short drive to Lake Tahoe! (and my favorite part of Lake Tahoe to be exact). 💙

The campground not only has RV sites but AMAZINGLY beautiful cabins to rent too (more to come on that!). We loved being surrounded by the giant pines, proximity to Tahoe and truly had everything we needed.

We enjoyed the nightly bonfires, access to grills and their cozy clubhouse too. And of course catching the stars in the night sky :)

Only 25 mins from Carson City - you can get access to the most beautiful parts of Lake Tahoe 😎 (at least in my opinion!)

Here are the best places to check out:
-Secret Cove
-Skunk Harbor
-Sand Harbor State Park
-South Lake Tahoe (for more party vibes outside of Carson City!)

Then make your way back for some amazing eats, brews, and more in Carson City 🍻🍦

I never stop thinking about my magical trip to Galena, IL in the early summertime. ❤️ The historic charm is oozing out of every corner and the Main Street is something out of a hallmark movie. Plus the Galena Country area is simple gorgeous! ✨

Clocking in around 5 hours from Minneapolis, you need to add Galena to your next road trip list! 🚗

Here’s our list of must do’s:
☕️Breakfast + Coffee - for morning empanada and their chocolate chip cookies. We seriously went here every single day!

🛍Wander the main street and shop at: , , , , and the many antiques shops!

🍴Eat: there’s SO many places to dine! We enjoyed + Little Tokyo

🍷Drink: for marg flights & for wine flights (make sure to visit the vineyard outside of town!

🥾Outside adventure: Hike with goats at , and check out Thunder Bay Falls! You can also rent kayaks or bikes in town and hit the trails or river!

📜History: Take a trolley tour around town or try a self guided tour of all the Historic Buildings! (Grant’s Home, Belvedere Mansion, Desoto House, Post Office, Dowling House)

Just spent a few days exploring and had SO much fun!😍 I had no idea what to expect but this historic little city completely blew me away and we had the best time.

Here’s a rundown of what we all did!
☕️Coffee
🏛️Toured the NV State Capitol Building
🏠Walked the Kit Carson Trail
🥾Hiked the Kings Canyon Waterfall Trail
🥁Explored the .school Indian museum and cultural center
🍦Lunch + Ice Cream at
🍻Brews + Bites
💧Hot springs at
🎰Won big at + enjoyed the lovely RV campground!

If you’re in the Reno or Lake Tahoe area - seriously consider a trip to explore Carson City!
