🎄 Closed just in time for Christmas 🎄

I get the honor of working with a builder who cares about the homes he puts into the world. Every detail, every decision, every finish has intention behind it, and that matters more than people realize.

This closing was extra special. Watching one of his homes become someone’s first place to call home right before Christmas is the kind of moment that reminds me why I love this business.

📉 Big News About Interest Rates Today 📉

The Fed cut rates again today and I’ve already had a few folks ask if mortgage rates dropped because of it. Here’s the quick version, no fancy lingo.

Mortgage rates didn’t fall off a cliff this afternoon because most of this was already baked into the cake. The market saw this cut coming, so rates have been slowly working their way down over the past several weeks.

BUT — today’s cut does help keep things moving in the right direction. It gives buyers a little more breathing room and keeps the long term outlook looking better than it did a few months ago.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to revisit your buying or refinancing plans, this is a good time to check in. Rates aren’t at rock bottom, but they’re friendlier than they’ve been in a while.

The Journey Home dropped off our Santa Mailbox at Kernel Kullman to collect Santa letters. If you would like Santa to write a letter to your child just print and fill out this form and drop it off. We also have some forms at Kernel Kullman as well. We will be picking up the Santa letters and start assisting Santa this week!
