Yes! My new album Give A Little is out and available on all streaming platforms for your listening pleasure. This latest offering is years in the making. These songs have taken root along the many roads I have traversed: from London to Miami; Jamaica to California; with the final production, mixing and mastering all happening at my Home Bass Studio here in Los Angeles. Along the way I have been honored to work with some of the best musicians around, including legendary Jamaican riddim section masters Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare. More than amazing musicians, we have become friends and family.
It has been a long journey and now I can exhale and release this music for your listening pleasure. I cannot say it has been easy! I do not think any artistic endeavor ever is. At the creation stage there is joy, excitement and ecstasy. In the middle phase there is editing and refinement; constructive analysis of what can improve on in the work that has begun. As we all know with any project - the finishing is the hardest part.
All of these songs were self produced, with a notable exception. I have performed most of these songs over the last decade and a half with various band members across the globe. All of you beautiful musicians and friends of mine are forever in my heart and soul. I am forever grateful for these memories and sounds we have shared together. These songs were brought to life live on stage before they were crystallized as final recordings and all of you are intertwined in the vibrations contained within the music.
