We are deeply saddened by the passing of Gordon Goodwin, the legendary 4-time Grammy Award–winning conductor who led the 2024 JEXA Awards Gala with brilliance and generosity. His artistry and commitment to nurturing young musicians left an indelible mark on our community.

We extend our heartfelt condolences and celebrate his extraordinary legacy, which will continue to inspire future generations of jazz artists.
