Still doing restoration work on old analog tapes...Here is a David Bowie master tape (15 ips, half-track) that came in to me from the client without a reel. Poorly wound, it fell apart in the middle requiring countless hours to untangle. Finally did it and it transferred perfectly! These were alternate mixes of "Golden Years" recorded in 1975.

During the summer of 1991, Ira Heffler’s play "Stranded In The Jungle” - starring Big Daddy - was staged at the world renowned Groundlings Theatre in L.A. Not surprisingly, the play sold out for the entire run. It told the amazing story of "Big Daddy, The Band of ‘59", from their high school formation to their capture and imprisonment in Southeast Asia, to their long deserved release some 25 years later!

In spite of missing the evolution of Rock 'n' Roll, the play went on to reveal how the boys valiantly resumed their musical career by playing today's songs the only way they know how...in the classic style of the 1950's!

The complete “Stranded In The Jungle” Audio Mini Series will be presented weekly on the Big Daddy YouTube Channel in ten exciting, nail-biting episodes!...Watch for a new episode each Monday!

Cali Rose and Bob Wayne at Sunburst putting the finishing touches on "Smile, Smile, Smile", Cali's newest album. Cali is featured on Ukulele and Lead Vocals along with composing almost all of the thirteen tracks.

Guest musicians on the project included Denny Croy on Acoustic and Electric Bass, Craig Fundyga on Vibes, Drums & Percussion, Joe Nazzaretta on Clarinet and Bob "Boo" Bernstein on Hawaiian Steel Guitar.

"Smile, Smile, Smile" was produced by Cali and Bob and will be mastered by Wayne Peet at Newzone Music.
