What an epic night at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2024!

Last night, we hosted an incredible party with Media.Monks that blurred the lines between reality and the MMMMultiverse. The beachfront came alive with cutting-edge audiovisual experiences that left guests spellbound.

The real showstopper? The music. DJs Taylah Elaine and Casper Nederhand (aka DJ Kickflip) delivered unforgettable sets that had everyone talking. Their sonic journeys through multiple dimensions of sound and music had the crowd raving all night.

Adding to the magic were dynamic visuals that transformed in real-time, blending seamlessly with the beats to create a truly immersive atmosphere. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this celebration of creativity and innovation.

Sound is powering more and more brands across the globe ā€“ and our creatives are behind some of the biggest global sonic identities.

We developed a unique and cohesive sonic identity for Careem, the ā€˜everything appā€™ for the greater Middle East, ranging from multiple sonic logos, to future opportunities such as UI sounds and region-specific adaptations. We also partnered with Social Clinic to develop and implement a sonic identity for AROYA Cruises, the first Arabian cruise line.

These projects won Gold and Silver respectively in the ā€˜Best Use of Audio Brandingā€™ category at the MEA last month! For the second year in a row, we got to take home these top prizes ā€“ recognising our hard work across the region. Weā€™re proud to have achieved this together with our spectacular clients, partners and everyone else involved. Congratulations to all ā€“ and check out some photos from the night below!

What happens when you get the chance to celebrate a brandā€™s rich history and exciting future all in one project? You get a score that feels contemporary yet retro at the same time.

For L'OCCITANE en Provence's Holiday campaign, we crafted a dreamy, cinematic track that makes you want to sit back and relax. The project gave us the freedom to go beyond the usual brief, allowing us to infuse iconic jazz instruments from the 60s and 70s ā€“ like the vibraphone and Rhodes-like piano ā€“ into a mesmerising soundscape.

This creative leap earned us a Bronze Lamp in the Music category at the ADCN Dutch Creativity Awards, a fitting recognition for a campaign that celebrates the brandā€™s continued dedication to authenticity.

We were also honoured to be the official music partners for the awards ceremony, setting the musical mood for the entire event. A fantastic way to cap off an inspiring night!

We have more awards to add to our collection ā€“ this time two golden for The Sound of TikTok and one silver for The Sound of Sparkasse šŸ†

Our work for TikTok involved creating a sonic logo that could become a true embodiment of their brand and culture and, of course, be as iconic as TikTok itself. The result? A golden win in the 'Best Audio Brand' as well as the 'Best Expression of a Brand on Social Media' category.

Our work for Sparkasse involved taking one of Germanyā€™s most recognised sonic logos (a whopping 94% recognition rate) and modernising it ā€“ all while preserving the brandā€™s heritage. The result? A harmonic foundation with a warm, plucky bass to enhance brand experience and a silver award for ā€˜Best Sonic Brand Evolutionā€™. Sounds Fantastisch to us.

Congratulations to everyone involved on these projects ā€“ proving yet again, that together we can achieve creative excellence. Time to celebrate!

What started as a demo recorded on a phone, accompanied only by piano and vocals, turned into a festive Christmas track with a full-blown orchestra šŸŽ»

For Kruidvat NL, a Dutch retail and pharmacy store, we created a tune as sweet as a marshmallow in a steaming cup of cocoa. The advertisement shows the journey of multiple kids who embark on a mission to raise money for Stichting Armoedefonds, an NGO in the Netherlands that combats poverty. Joined by musicians Miss Montreal and Metejoor to take the track to a whole ā€˜nother level ā€“ the final result is nothing short of stunning.

šŸŒ Conserving our beautiful planet is something we should all care about. Thatā€™s why we teamed up with the National Trust, Europeā€™s largest conservation charity, to create a sound that is caring, inspiring and joyous.

We used novel recording techniques to capture the sounds of the smallest handmade objects to the largest landscapes to convey the beauty of the places the Trust looks after. Think a 19th-century viaduct or a 17th-century merchantā€™s house ā€“ all turned into a sonic experience šŸŽ¶

For INGLOTā€™s 40th anniversary campaign, we crafted a bespoke track that perfectly matches the aesthetic visuals. Using elements such as a delicate harp with glitches and electronic sound design elements, our producers took this campaign to the next level, even playing with space in the music to illustrate the way the camera approaches the models.

To send this powerful message into the world, we joined forces with ALIMA for their campaign, which centres around ensuring access to life-saving medical oxygen across sub-Saharan Africa. Combining dreamlike visuals of the African landscape together with 8D audio techniques, we created multidimensional soundscapes that invite everyone to step back, take a breath and then give a breath šŸŒ

Yesterday evening, we won 2x Bronze at the Creativepool Awards for both TikTokā€™s sonic identity and ā€˜If Only You Knewā€™, our campaign work for charity organisation . Winning awards is always gratifying, but it feels even better to win in the Music & Sound category šŸŽ¶
