Some of the hottest spots in Downtown Manhattan Beach opened their doors on Wednesday, June 3, to ARRIVED™ Los Angeles and members of the hospitality industry for a night of exploration and discovery. The evening kicked off on the rooftop of Esperanza Cocina de la Playa with margaritas and a buffet of Sonoran cuisine samplings. Downtown Manhattan Beach’s Executive Directly, Kelly Stroman, welcomed the group and gave an overview of the night’s festivities. Guests received a Downtown Manhattan Beach tote filled with swag and discount offerings before they embarked on a walking tour. The first stop was a visit to Bo Bridges Gallery, where world-renowned photographer Bo Bridges met the group and shared some stories of his work with sports athletes and celebrities. Next guests were treated to a stop at The Bespoke Bungalow by Chase Kern. Kern’s expertise in custom-made tailoring for men (and women) is a South Bay dream. His private Bespoke Bungalow serves customers who are looking for a made-to-measure custom experience. Next stop was a visit to boutique owner Stella Shirman’s Estell Boutique—a personal styling shop that offers one-of-a-kind selections for women. At Tabula Rasa Essentials proprietor, Maureen McBride, introduced guests to her lifestyle gift shop that’s been in Manhattan Beach for 26 years. Tabula Rasa offers the ultimate shopping experience with personally curated gifts. Next door, Chef David Slay of SLAY Italian Kitchen, offered guests a selection wines and Italian meatballs, pizzas, and bruschetta, while he mingled with the group. The evening culminated at Culture Brewing where General Manager, Kelly Oelschlager offered guests flights of beer and sweet treats were provided by Manhattan Beach Creamery. Downtown Manhattan Beach’s, Kelly Stroman, led a quiz with prizes from David Slay, Love & Salt, Culture Brewing, Coucou, The Strand House, Gum Tree, Tabula Rasa Essentials, Trilogy Spa, Hammitt, Centre Theatre Group, and Maverick Helicopters.
