On Tuesday, November 18, the Los Angeles Concierge Association hosted its annual Gala & Awards Ceremony at the Peterson Automotive Museum. The evening kicked off with tours of the Museum and a trip underground to The Vault that includes more than 300 historic and rare vehicles from around the world. Concierges, sponsors and guests then gathered on the 4th Floor Penthouse & Pavilion for a presentation on the “Art of Concierge” by The Langham Huntington Hotel’s Director of Rooms & Resort Operations, Mark Grzankowski. LACA President, Chamian Coates of the Four Seasons Los Angeles, thanked everyone for their support and recognized the following hospitality leaders for their dedication this year:

• Concierge of the Year, James Little of The Peninsula Beverly Hills

• Rising Star of the Year, Jason Mendez of The Beverly Hilton
• Rising Star of the Year, Alejandro Sosa of The Langham Huntington Hotel & Spa

• Corporate Sponsor of the Year, Patrick Cleaver of Discount Tickets

• Frank Parr of The Peninsula Beverly Hills was recognized for his leadership as LACA Corporate Ambassador and his work on the LACA 2025 Expo & Hospitality Tradeshow.

• Matt Beritich of the Fairmont Breakers Long Beach was recognized as Les Clefs d’Or Liaison and for his continued leadership as President Emeritus.

LACA President, Chamian Coates, then recognized the Peterson Automotive Museum’s Director of Events, Jasmine Gonzalez, and her team for hosting the festivities that included a light dinner buffet and wine and beer bar. Guests got to take in the city views from the rooftop and in “Casino Royale” fashion enjoyed partaking in some fun casino gaming tables.

On Tuesday, October 14, the Los Angeles Concierge Association hosted its annual Expo and Hospitality trade show at the Taglyan Complex in Hollywood. Nearly 50 businesses showcased their expertise in the hospitality industry including tours and attractions, museums, restaurants, helicopter, cruise, boating and luxury transportation providers, along with spa, beauty and wellness services. Exhibitors turned out to meet and network with hotel professionals from all over the city. The event included a silent auction featuring more than 50 bid items —from hotel stays to car rentals to a fashion consultation to helicopters trips. All proceeds are benefitting the ongoing expenses of the Los Angeles Concierge Association. The night celebrated the Golden Age of Hollywood with a “Hooray for Hollywood!” theme that included a red carpet with step and repeat, a 360-camera to capture fun photo videos while a DJ kept the momentum in full swing.
