Today has been the toughest day imaginable. A call that I never wanted to get. Our hearts are broken. Please pray for the families involved in this tragic accident.

At approximately 7:00 a.m. this morning (Monday, March 10, 2025), a City of Cu***ng employee was struck by a truck in the parking lot of one of our outlying locations. Sadly, the employee was pronounced dead at the scene.

The City of Cu***ng is completely devastated following this tragic accident that resulted in the loss of life of a treasured City employee. The City of Cu***ng is very much a family, and we are all in shock and utterly heartbroken following this morning’s tragedy.

We are currently not releasing the name of the employee pending full notification of the individual's family, and out of respect for the family as they grieve their loved one.

At this time, we ask for the community to join us in prayer for the family and friends of our lost employee, as well as for our entire City of Cu***ng family.

What a great community we live in! I witnessed such love and caring tonight for our neighbors in coastal Georgia. About 10 smokers packed with pork to send to those in need due to Hurricane Helene. This is round three with another happening next week. God is good!

There is a little coffee shop, where two people arrive and approached the counter.

“Five coffees please. Two for us and three hanging.”

They paid, they took their two coffees and left.

I asked the waiter. "What’s this about hanging coffees?"

“Wait and you'll see."

Some more people came in.

Two girls asked for a coffee each, they paid & left.

The following order was for seven coffees and it was made by three women - ‘three for them and four hanging coffees.’

I was left wondering...what is the meaning of the hanging coffees, they leave.

Then, a man dressed in worn clothes, who looks like he might be homeless, arrives at the counter and asks sincerely...

“Do you have a coffee hanging?"

“Yes we do, sir.”

They serve him a coffee.... I got my answer.

People pay in advance for a coffee that will be served to whoever can't afford a hot drink.

This tradition started in Naples.

Amazingly, it has spread throughout the world’s cities and towns.

It’s also possible to order not only "hanging coffees" but also a sandwich or a full low cost meal.

Wouldn’t it be great if we could all start doing this in the cities and towns where we live?

Small kindnesses like this can impact so many lives, in ways we could never imagine.

Maybe we should all try it.😊❤️

Jodie and I were honored to drive this car owned by Jim Otwell of Andean Chevrolet in the parade last year. He submitted this photo taken at the City Center for the Chevrolet calender next year. It's a beautiful car worthy of being in any calendar.

What an amazing night at the Braves game! I was lucky enough to throw out the first pitch (knuckleball for a strike 🙂) , met the Braves CEO, coach Snitker, Chipper Jones and had 50 great friends and family there. Coach said he might need me in the 7th but luckily they didn't 🤣.
