Big thanks to Vicious Biscuit for having me out to try their new menu items. Below the the press release from VB and some pictures I took.

The holidays are here, and Vicious Biscuit is rolling out a lineup of indulgent winter offerings that channel all the warmth, whimsy, and bold flavors fans crave this time of year. The Southern-made originator of unapologetically creative biscuit entrées is debuting a brand-new savory showstopper alongside two beloved returning favorites for a limited time. Available at all Vicious Biscuit locations from now through December 31.

Making its winter debut is The Frenchie, a hearty, comforting creation designed to take cozy season to vicious new heights. Thin-sliced, piled-high roast beef and melted white cheddar cheese are stacked on a signature buttermilk biscuit and served with a side of hot, savory au jus for the ultimate dip-worthy delight.



For those who prefer their holiday cheer in a cup, the Peppermint Mocha Latte is back by popular demand. This seasonal favorite blends the rich sweetness of white chocolate with the cool bite of peppermint and the bold bitterness of espresso, topped with whipped cream and peppermint flakes. It is available hot or iced for any winter mood.



Rounding out the return of the holiday “dream team” is The Angry Elf, a smooth and creamy cocktail combining peppermint, Bailey’s Irish Cream, Kahlua, and Jameson Irish Whiskey. Served over ice with a cinnamon sugar rim and finished with a splash of whole milk, it delivers just the right amount of sweetness, warmth, and spirited kick.



“We’re excited to bring back our fan-favorite holiday items while introducing a brand-new savory option that adds a little warmth to the winter season,” said Michael Ball, vice president of operations for Vicious Biscuit. “These seasonal offerings showcase the festive fun and bold creativity Vicious Biscuit is known for, giving our guests another reason to celebrate with us this holiday season.”



In addition to the holiday limited-time menu, Vicious Biscuit is making it easier than ever to bring bold biscuits to any holiday gathering with its recently relaunched catering program. Guests can choose from a variety of items such as The Vicious Beignets, Biscuits by the Dozen, Grab & Go Biscuits, and Family Style options. Perfect for family gatherings and holiday office parties, the catering menu ensures there is something vicious for everyone around the table.



Holiday shoppers can also round out the season with a little Vicious Biscuit flair. From branded bandanas to Son of a Biscuit tee shirts, the merch lineup offers fun gift ideas for biscuit lovers everywhere. Last night I went to Mr. G's Pizza and Wings in Fairlawn, Ohio. For dinner. Normally they are closed on Tuesdays but for a few weeks now Uncle Bacon's BBQ has been doing a kitchen takeover with an all BBQ menu AND bbq pizzas.

Last night they were testing a new item. Mac and Cheese Balls. These feature Uncle Bacon's homemade smoked Mac and Cheese rolled in an Italian breadcrumb and herb coating then deep fried and drizzled with the signature UB BBQ sauce.

The creaminess of the Mac and Cheese with the crunch of the outer layer is a combination I'm struggling to put into words. Not only that, but the sweetness of the bbq sauce drizzle makes for a perfect bite every single time. Creamy, crunchy, sweet. I've had Mac and cheese bites before but this is an elevated version that just hits on every single level.

I actually came here for the Mac and Cheese Pizza with Pulled Pork Pizza (which we will get to) so having these as a surprise item was spectacular. The Pizza was just as delicious as it sounds. Mr Gs has been doing Pizzas for a very very long time so I don't know why I was surprised when the actual pizza dough was one of the highlights for me. It was firm enough to carry the weight of the toppings, had a nice chew to it and was crispy on the edges. I was really impressed. The Mac and cheese is UB signature smoked Mac so of course it's good, and it's the base of the pizza. Topped with carefully placed pulled pork and drizzled with that bbq sauce makes the pizza balanced in a way I wasn't expecting. A lot of times these things can be too heavy or greasy or overpowered by one thing and this version is not. Each element shines and delivers a flavor punch so strong that keeps you coming back for another bite.

Guys. I think it's official. Unless something absolutely bonkers happens between now and January 1st, I think it's safe to say that the Macaroni and Cheese Balls from Uncle Bacon BBQ is the best thing I've eaten in 2025.

If you want to have your chance to try them, you'll have to visit Mr G's on a Tuesday evening during a BBQ takeover night. Make sure you follow both Mr G's and Uncle Bacon BBQ so you don't miss it.

Tonight I had the best food item I've tasted in 2025.

I thought about it for awhile because I didn't want to be a prisoner of the moment, but I can say with absolute confidence that It was the best bite of 2025.

The best part is that it came from a local restaurant that I'll be sharing with you tomorrow! Stay Tuned for tomorrow's post.
