There's elk everywhere! In Estes Park, elk run the town and go where they please, even stopping traffic and getting police escorts! It's so fun to see! One morning at our boondocking spot, we were surprised by a large group of elk that surrounded our van! What a special moment shared with such beautiful wildlife. 💓 Best part about Estes Park though, is how close it is to Rocky Mountain National Park. Follow along for the adventure because we're getting ready for some beautiful hikes in Colorado's Rocky Mountains!

Another surprising find on our Colorado travels. R***e Falls State Park has a tall waterfall you can walk behind and a hiking trail to some expansive caves! Gotta love state parks, especially when there's such impressive natural wonders to explore like this one. Thankful to be spending the summer in beautiful Colorado!

Another incredible boondocking spot in Colorado! We couldn't believe we found this one perched high up on a cliff with an amazing view of the Colorado River. With the backdrop of the mountains, a train along the river, and a family of wild deer playing in the grassy field below, we couldn't have dreamed of a better spot. And the stars at night were so bright! 🌠
