We are excited to let you know that some friends and I recently founded a new land brokerage company called Farm and Forest Brokers. We are blessed to assemble a truly talented team of land professionals, that are committed to providing exceptional service to our customers and clients who buy and sell land.

FFB is singularly focused on land- farms, ranches, timberland, and hunting and recreational properties. I have known most of the people on our team for at least a decade, and have tremendous respect for who they are and the work they do for their clients. Many of them are familiar names in the land industry, and you know some of them from my weekly radio show, The Land Show.

Over the coming weeks, we will share more about what we are doing. Our new office is in Centreville, Alabama. The founding members of our team are my friends Austin Ainsworth, Rick Bourne, Dalton Dalrymple, Daniel Hautamaki, Cooper Holmes, Shaun Lee, Calvin Perryman, Gary Silvernell, and Russ Walters. We have two great ladies helping serve the team and serve our clients, Abbey Wheeler Green and Brittney Nicole Harper.

We had a great time at the Selma Alabama Wildlife Federation Cook-off. Our team came home with 2nd Place in the Game division. LB and I started doing this 9 years ago, and this was our last time before she heads off to college next year. Thanks to Geoffrey Vining for helping us this year. Thanks to all that made this a fantastic event!

I took this picture today, and got a little emotional. The buggy on the right is the one I used to make my first land sale, and the other is the one I use now. Back in 2007, when I was first getting started in land sales, I would have to borrow this Ranger from my friend Pat Miaoulis. I would drive to Montgomery, 90 miles one way the night before I showed a property, and get Pat’s buggy ready for the next day. I did this for 4 years until I could afford to buy my first Ranger. Pat was generous to help this knucklehead out to get my business started. When Pat passed away, I bought it from his children. I plan to get this old girl running again to use on our farm. I’m grateful for the reminder of all the hard work it has taken to build a career, but also for the generosity and kindness of Pat and others that have helped my family. Over the past 17 years I have been able to help hundreds, maybe thousands, of families with their land sales and purchases. Thank you to everyone who has helped us along the way. It would be an honor to help you or your loved ones with any of your land buying or selling needs.
