A recent commission for a buddy who wanted some Gloomhaven minis painted.

All over black undercoat with white zenithal, mostly done with Xpress Color by Vallejo, some layering with Game Color. Metallics by Army Painter.

Took about 2 weeks (on and off, mostly off) - paint time around 4-6 hours all told.

If the rumour mill is true, Legonis Imperialis (Epic HH) is up for pre-release very soon.

I’ll be offering a special deal commission spot for the boxed set to one lucky customer.

Final cost depends on service level.

Project cost - $290

What costs extra?
- Asking me to order the boxed set.
- Assembly and preparation. (+$50)
- Anything beyond tabletop standard painting.
- Anything beyond basic basing (texture paint, wash, quick drybrush.)
- Shipping to customer.

I would expect the project to take about 3-4 weeks (depending on finish quality) so I *might* have it finished in time for Christmas.

Things have been wild at Shiny towers for the last few months. The day job is a butt-kicker at times and seems to sap most of my painting energy.

I’ve been reluctant to post commission slots for two reasons:
1) I’m not 100% sure I can fulfil them.
2) I don’t have a bunch of sample photos.

I’m working on 3 main projects right now:
1) Gaunts Ghosts - a personal project to develop my skills.
2) A bunch of Space Marines - worked up to my three offered finishes.
3) A pair of characters lifted to my display standard.

Naturally, these things take time. I’ll hopefully be picking up the paintbrushes again this weekend.

With my August commission finished, I turned my attention to some personal projects.

First was the Imperial Fists Praetor, trying to up my display model standards and push my skills.

Second was a Hearthkyn warrior test model. I have a unit to paint up and I wanted to do something a bit different with a mix of materials.

Pretty happy with both.

First commission has been delivered to its owner. The delight on his face was awesome to behold. Really appreciate being able to flex my painting muscles on some Space Wolves - even though my allegiances lie elsewhere.

Commission number 1

I was contacted a week or so ago with a request to paint these four Space Wolf characters to my Showy Standard.

So that's what I did. So, here y'all are.

Here y'all are, folks. I've painted up a bunch of Space Marines with different armour colours so you can get a feel of what each standard is like.

This here is *Tabletop Standard* - basic colours, limited shading, simple metallics, little to no edge highlighting, there may be some errors not fixed.

Though these are Space Marines, I do paint pretty much anything. Stay tuned to this page for updates as I add more painting projects to it.

How to secure a commission spot:

Inbox or email with details of the project - no. of models, finish quality, etc.

Discuss and agree final cost and deadline.

Pay a 50% deposit.

The balance will be due before models are handed back.

I’ve had a few inquiries for commissions already but, as of today, no takers.

I am just starting out so I don’t have a TON of pictures so I’d ask for some patience while I get stuff together, painted for reference, and photos taken.

I do accept this may put some folks off, and that it’ll perhaps ding my chances for commissions with some. That’s the way it goes, though.

Display standard - projects no larger than a single miniature.
- Even wider range of colours.
- Multiple edge highlights, deeper recess shades and/or glazes.
- Narrative or themes basing scheme.
- Multiple transfers.
Guide price - 200% the cost of the miniatures.

There is an additional fee for construction and/or miniature preparation.
