I knew I had taken at least one photo of an owl in my area! Google Photos helped me unearth this shot, taken with my iPhone 8 in February of 2019! I was out on a trail run with Noel and Erika and we spotted this beauty! 😍

Hopefully next January I can find another owl on my adventures, and get a better shot with my SLR! This would also give me time to save for a longer lens as well as researching some good owl locations. ☺️🦉

The was a once in a lifetime opportunity. With -30 temperatures and wind speeds strong enough to knock a person down, I was able to capture a picture perfect shot of the Lunar eclipse with the northern lights shining through.
