e Southeast. Co-founded by Luke Pilgrim and Brad Kennedy and named after each of our cats, Sozo Bear Films is the ideal film production company. We offer a variety of products ranging from commercials to music videos and everything in between. We are here to assist from concept to completion in film production, including preproduction, production and postproduction. This includes screenwriting, filming, and editing/color correcting/graphic design for all of your video needs.

Brad is the steady force that keeps Sozo Bear moving forward, leading with creativity, vision, and an eye for detail that shows in everything we do. He’s also a walking movie database, somehow able to recall every film, actor, and release year without missing a beat. And, of course, he’s basically our unofficial hand model, always ready to stand in for the pickup shots while also directing and producing at the same time👏

We’re grateful for all the passion, leadership, and dedication he brings to the team. Here’s to another year of storytelling, creativity, and movie magic.

We are currently seeking men and women to be volunteer extras for an upcoming Sozo Bear Original Short Film!

SYNOPSIS:
At Jenny’s backyard gender reveal, family drama takes center stage—until strange clouds roll in and party guests start acting violently bizarre. Her eccentric brother Barry insists it’s an alien mind control invasion, but no one believes him. When chaos erupts, Jenny must rely on the one person she trusts the least as the fate of her baby (and the neighborhood) comes down to a very unconventional fireworks display.

TONE: Shaun of the Dead meets Signs with the messy family dynamics of The Bear.

Sometimes you have to take big swings. This summer our team was tasked with a huge project: creating not one, but two all-encompassing leisure commercials for Lanier Islands Resorts on a tight turnaround right before the start of their busy summer season.

The production had everything: kid actors, a dog, underwater shots, a large party of extras, and the sprawling beauty of the resort itself. It was ambitious, fast-paced, and one of the most rewarding challenges we’ve tackled in our company’s history. We’re super proud of how it all came together and what each of our amazing cast and crew brought to these commercials!
