Happy New Year from Dalhart FFA. Agriculture reminds us that every new season is a chance to plant hope, work hard, and reap the results.

Did you know? Eating black-eyed peas on New Year’s Day has been a tradition since the 1800s. Many believe the peas symbolize coins and bring good luck and prosperity for the year ahead.

We’re asking all members who are able to please help with setting up for the Bi-County Show on Saturday, January 3rd, starting at 9:00am.
Any help, big or small, would be greatly appreciated to get everything ready on time. Many hands make light work! 💪

💙💛 Dalhart FFA Shines at Amarillo District Speaking Events! 💛💙

Dalhart FFA had 8 speakers compete this evening at the Amarillo District Speaking Events, with an incredible 5 speakers advancing to Area! To say we are proud of this outstanding group of future leaders is truly an understatement.

Dalhart FFA attended the Amarillo District Banquet, where our very own Alden Hobbs led the evening as his final act as District President. We are incredibly proud of his leadership and dedication!
We are also excited to announce that Jaxon Hokanson was elected to serve the Amarillo District as Reporter. Congratulations, Jaxon!
Our chapter was honored with several banners from this year’s LDE season. It is always a privilege to receive recognition for a job well done.
These students represent the National Blue and Corn Gold of the FFA with integrity, respect, and pride. We couldn’t be more proud of this amazing group of Golden Wolves! 🐺💙🌽

As we enter Thanksgiving week, Dalhart FFA has so much to be grateful for. 💛

We wrapped up Area contests on Saturday, and although we didn’t quite punch a ticket to State, the growth, grit, and teamwork shown along the way mean everything.

🌾💙 Dalhart FFA Has Been Busy! 💛🌾

It’s been an action-packed three days for our members!

📍 Monday: We traveled to Amarillo for district contests.
🇺🇸 Tuesday: We had the honor of handing out flags and ushering for our local Veterans Day parade and program.
📍 Wednesday: We headed back to Amarillo for round two of district contests!

In total, we hauled 20 teams and over 30 students — and their hard work paid off! As the dust settles, 5 teams are advancing to Area! 🙌

Dalhart FFA was blessed to haul a dozen outstanding speakers to the State Fair of Texas this week! 🌟 This was a first for us—lessons were learned, notes were taken, and determination for future success was built. Beyond proud of the hard work these students put in, especially in an area where most their age wouldn’t. The future is bright with leaders and trendsetters like these! 💙💛
