Impressive landspout spotted southwest of Jennings at approximately 6pm this evening. Associated with a rapidly developing shower, it produced a strong updraft that stretched vorticity upward into a vertical axis, ultimately tightening into a vortex. Fortunately, no damage has been reported. The swift development of the cumulus cloud was instrumental in generating this funnel cloud. Photos courtesy of Chelsie Van Ness Davidson.
