Bears, beets and bushcraft. How I stay safe solo camping ⤵️

⛑️ Protection: I bring bear spray and a kn!fe but hopefully you never have to use either unless you’re chopping snacks and making fire starter

🆘 Tell someone the area you’re exploring and for how long. Bring a satellite communicator just in case, I use a stick

🗺️ Google the area and look at reviews. I always feel better for some reason ensuring there’s been no recent news of a bear attack or something like that

😊 Do it scared. When Kyro starts barking at nothing in the bushes I definitely have moments of second guessing why I couldn’t have chosen a different hobby lol. But there’s nothing like pushing your comfort zone (as long you’re making logical decisions and you’re prepared)
