Today I have the privilege of preaching two messages at Bayside Community Church in Tampa Bay, FL, and I would greatly appreciate your prayers!

🙏 Message #1: Archaeology and Ancient Israel
We are living in a day when, sadly, antisemitism is once again on the rise around the world and even in our own nation. The Jewish people are being targeted, Jewish students are facing discrimination, and the biblical history of Israel continues to be subjected to intense skepticism.

In this message, I’ll examine four archaeological discoveries about Ancient Israel and the historical reliability of the biblical record. Some biblical scholars and archaeologists continue to doubt the existence of biblical figures and events—from Abraham and the Exodus to David and the establishment of Israel's kingdom. Yet archaeological discoveries continue to provide important evidence that affirms the biblical account and silences the critics.

🙏 Message #2: The Feast of Belshazzar — Daniel 5
In the second message, we’ll travel to Babylon and examine the famous Feast of Belshazzar in Daniel 5. Along the way, I’ll highlight two additional archaeological discoveries that provide fascinating confirmation of details found in Daniel's account.

I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to connect God's Word with historical and archaeological evidence and to demonstrate that biblical faith is not a blind faith. As my research in Faith Affirming Findings demonstrates, archaeology provides remarkable evidence that helps affirm the historical reliability of Scripture.

Please pray for me today—that the Lord would give me clarity, boldness, wisdom, and grace as I teach His Word, and that these messages would strengthen the faith of believers and point others toward the truth of Scripture.

We had a great conversation about biblical archaeology, apologetics, and the historical reliability of Scripture, including insights from my book "Faith-Affirming Findings." Many denominations that once sent thousands of missionaries around the world have seen their missionary movements all but disappear. Why? Because when confidence in the exclusive gospel of Jesus Christ is lost, the urgency to proclaim Him to the nations is lost as well.
If we truly believe that Christ alone saves and that people need to hear the gospel, missions isn't optional—it's essential.

Seminary students and faculty turned their backs on Billy Graham in protest! This is how bad things had gotten at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary before the conservative resurgence!
Billy Graham preached to kings and presidents. He filled stadiums with millions hanging on every word. But the only place in his entire life where people turned their backs on him was at a Southern Baptist seminary.
As he walked to the chapel, students lined the sidewalk — and one by one, turned away. When he got up to preach, the faculty sat in the choir loft with their arms folded in defiance.
"It just broke my heart," Dr. Danny Akin, recently retired president of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, recounts
That's how bad it had gotten! But praise the Lord, things have changed.
