This is not just a dream fulfilled but a God given promise kept

At the beginning of this year, my goal was to become a homeowner. I surrendered this desire to God & entrusted Him with that goal.

I started touring homes in April and I kept declaring Amos 9:13-15. That same week I put in an offer on what I felt was my dream home. That offer was declined. What could’ve been seen as a setback, was only a set up of God’s greater.

A few days later, I got a call from my realtor. The previous offer didn’t go through and they wanted to go with my offer. Talk about Amos 9:13-15 happening in real time!

On 5/2/24, I officially became a first time home owner. This major accomplishment couldn’t have happened without God’s mighty hand of favor covering me as well as my parent’s expertise, support and guidance.

How many of us (myself included) decide to wait to live?

There is so much freedom in deciding that you won’t wait until things get less stressful or until you accomplish a set goal to live.

To live life right here in the now in spite of not having it all is how you truly live an abundant life.

It’s like you’re saying yes I’m not where I want to be or yes my life doesn’t look like what I desire but I’m still going to live life while working towards my goals and desires.

Choose to live life abundantly by always finding joy in spite of how your life looks 🤍.

Always moving with love + pure intentions

[no matter the circumstances]

While I may be very single, I approach this day differently now. What used to be a bittersweet day is now a day that I don’t dread as much.

While I am grateful I am surrounded by so much love from my family + friends, it doesn’t take away my desire for a divine love. God has really been working on opening my heart to expect the very best from him when it comes to my love life. God has allowed me to wait with expectancy knowing that sweetest love that He specifically created for me is on the way.

I say all this to say, even if you’re single on Valentine’s Day be encouraged that God has not forgotten about you. Pray for God to open your heart to receive His love while you wait with expectation for the sweetest and most divine love created by Him specially for you! 💕

Letting go to receive more

When we think of letting go, we instantly think of loss. But in the biblical sense, letting go of our own control allows us to receive more. When we let go and surrender everything to God, that is when divine acceleration takes place. That is when God takes us from glory to glory, strength to strength and blessing to blessing.

This year let go of trying to control how 2024 will play out and lean into what God is doing. There is a fresh new anointing on this new year and if we don’t relinquish our own control, we may miss what God is trying to do in us and through us.
