Proof that not all of my projects go as planned 😭
I truly thought this mid century modern chair would be a straight forward restoration but I should’ve known there was a reason someone put that fabric over it 🥴🙃
Although I wasn’t able to save the original fabric, I’m obsessed with the new stain color 🥰 now what color
fabric to I start looking for?! And what sewing machine do I get to upholster this chair?!

Saving this vintage walnut mid century dresser from a sad beige paint job ❤️

Would you have left it black??

I found this vintage mid-century modern Stanley dresser at the thrift store for just $65.. then after discounts I only paid $50!! Hiding underneath layers of black paint was the original gorgeous walnut wood 😍

I stripped off the paint, sanded everything down, repaired the damage, and brought that beautiful walnut grain back to life. The difference from start to finish is WILD 👀

Now for the big question… how much should I list it for?! 💰

I found this vintage mid-century modern Stanley dresser at the thrift store for just $50… hiding underneath layers of black paint was the original WALNUT. 🤎
