Just a little prayer

FOR THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE ON THE RIGHTEOUS AND HIS EARS ARE ATTENTIVE TO THEIR PRAYER.

As I have said many times before, prayer is the most powerful thing on earth!
I have witnessed miracles do to the prayers of others many times indeed!

Therefore; DEVOTE YOURSELVES TO PRAYER, BEING WATCHFUL AND THANKFUL. AND PRAY FOR US, TOO, THAT GOD MAY OPEN A DOOR FOR OUR
MESSAGE, SO THAT WE MY PROCLAIM THE MYSTERY OF CHRIST. ( COLOSSIANS 4:2-3 )

Also when you become filled with cares and
woe, or just need a friend to talk with, speak to God. For it only takes.

God is ever there for those

Cover Or Expose?

Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.

1 Peter 4:8

The Scripture says God will not promote gossips, faultfinders, or busybodies.
It’s been said that every person carries a bucket of gasoline and a bucket of water.
When you hear gossip, rumors, or juicy information about someone, you can either pour gasoline on it and cause the fire to spread or you can pour water on it and help put out the fire.
Too many people use their gasoline.
But even if it’s true and what they did was wrong, “love covers a person’s faults.”

Love doesn’t expose them, doesn’t tell five friends and put it on social media.
The mercy you show others is the mercy that’s going to be shown to you.
If you’re harsh, judgmental, and expose people’s failures, magnify their mistakes, that same judgment is going to come back to you.
You may know things that are true and could make someone look bad, but that’s a test.
Can God trust you to keep it to yourself and not damage their reputation?
Or are you going to spread everything you know?
Cover their fault and pass the test.

How You See Yourself 💪

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.
I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

John 10:10☀️

When you face unfair difficulties, the enemy will not just try to hinder your destiny, he’ll try to steal your identity. He’ll try to deceive you into letting your environment—how people treat you, disappointments, delays—dictate who you are.
If they cause you to see yourself as limited, not valuable, unworthy, that will keep you from your purpose.
He’s not after your possessions; he’s after your identity.
If he can control how you see yourself, he’ll limit your future.
When you’re in a negative environment, don’t let the environment get in you. You’re not defined by your environment.

Sometimes God leads us into difficulties, allowing bad breaks or people to do us wrong.
You know that God has a great dream for your life, but how you see yourself will determine whether you stay in the difficulty or come out better.
Don’t take on a victim mentality and let it change your identity.
God is going to use it to move you into greater levels of your destiny.
You are a victor, an overcomer, more than a conqueror.
You can do all things through Christ.

The Shadow of The Almighty

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty….He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge.

Psalm 91:1,4

Sometimes it feels like we’re surrounded by trouble, surrounded by evil, surrounded by sickness.
A lot may be happening on the outside, things that could have you upset, worried, or afraid, but you can’t let that get inside.
What you may not realize is there’s something else surrounding you, a secret place where you can rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Your job is to stay in that secret place, to stay close to God, to keep Him first place in your life.
The secret place is a place of peace, a place of trust.
In that secret place, there’s a calmness, a rest.
You know the Most High God is watching after you.
You know you’re covered under His wings, that He has you hidden in a safe place.
When you’re in that secret place, for calamity to get to you, it has to first go through Him.
When the enemy comes after you, he has to first deal with the Lord Almighty. As long as you’re in the secret place, you have no reason to worry about what might happen.

The Truth Struggle

Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

Ephesians 6:11

Some people say we’re in a power struggle with the enemy, but he was defeated by Jesus on the cross.
You’re in a truth struggle.
The only power the enemy has over you is the power you give him by believing his lies and deceptions.
That’s why the Scripture says to recognize the enemy’s schemes.
He starts with a little thought, a seed of doubt: “Your spouse doesn’t really love you.” “It’s okay to fudge on your taxes.
It won’t hurt to do it one time.”
The suggestions seem harmless, but if you dwell on them, they will lead to all kinds of detrimental things—brokenness, addictions, loneliness, lack.

The enemy can be convincing, but you have the Spirit of God inside, the Spirit of truth who reveals the enemy’s lies, and you have the Word of God.
When you ask God for wisdom and discernment, you’ll hear the still small voice inside alert you to things that are not right for you.
You’ll feel a check, an uneasiness in your spirit.
If you guard your mind and heart with God’s truth, you will defeat every lie.

Does It Really Matter?

It matters very little to me what you think of me, even less where I rank in popular opinion.

1 Corinthians 4:3-4

It’s good to have a spouse who speaks faith into your life, a neighbor who cheers you on, a friend who encourages you.
It’s healthy when you have people who make you feel valued and appreciated. But it becomes unhealthy if you start depending on them to make you feel good about who you are, if you lose your passion because someone’s not there to encourage you or someone doesn’t approve you and instead puts you down.

We can become so dependent upon others’ approval that we base our value, our worth, on what they are telling us. That’s a codependent relationship.

God didn’t create you to be dependent on someone else to keep you fixed.
He uses people to bless and encourage you, but at some point they’ll let you down and can’t be there for you every time you have a difficulty or think you need them.

As a child of God, you have His approval of who you are, and that is not dependent on what anyone else thinks or says about you.
Be secure and happy in who God has made you to be.

Reverse The Insecurity 🤘

“But Lord,” Gideon replied, “how can I rescue Israel?
My clan is the weakest in the whole tribe of Manasseh, and I am the least in my entire family!”

Judges 6:15

In Judges 6, an angel had just called Gideon a “mighty hero,” whom the Lord God was with, and told him to “go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites.”
You can tell from Gideon’s response that for years he had been feeding on thoughts of insecurity, doubt, and fear.

He gave excuses for why he couldn’t do it, that his family wasn’t qualified, he wasn’t influential or talented enough, he wasn’t a leader.
Gideon was at a critical point.
Was he going to keep feeding his excuses, or would he believe he was a mighty hero, that he could do what God said, that he wasn’t lacking?
Gideon did what we all must do: He changed what he was feeding.
Instead of feeding fear, he started feeding faith and courage.
Instead of feeding insecurity, he started feeding the mighty hero.
He changed his attitude from “I can’t do this” to “God, You say it is so, and I believe Your Word.”
Change what you’re feeding on, and it will change you.

The Promises of ✌️ peace.

“I will listen to what God the Lord says; he promises peace to his people...”

Psalm 85:8

No matter what is going on in your life right now, the Lord promises that you can have peace.
It doesn’t matter what’s happening in the economy, in your relationships or at the office; nothing in this world can take His peace from you.
But notice the first part of this verse—we have to do our part. We have to listen to what He tells us to do.

You may be thinking to yourself, “God doesn’t speak to me.”
But once you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you become His.
The Bible says that you are His sheep, and you can hear His voice, and the voice of a stranger you will not follow.

The Lord speaks in many ways.
First of all, He speaks through the Word of God.
But sometimes, He speaks through the encouragement of a friend, or through a song, or in the beauty of nature. Sometimes it’s a simple “knowing” deep down on the inside of you in your spirit. If you aren’t sure how God speaks to you, ask Him to teach you.
Open your heart and be willing to hear His voice.
As you take time to be still and listen to Him, He will speak.
He will reveal Himself to you and give you peace all the days of your life.

Cast Your Cares🤘

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

1 Peter 5:7, NIV

God cares so much about you today.
Not only does He love and care about you, He cares about the things that you care about as well.
If you have concerns, worry or anxiety about something in your life today; finances, relationships, your job or anything else, know that your heavenly Father already has a plan to take care of those things for you.
It’s a good plan, and He wants to show Himself strong on your behalf.

The Scripture reminds us that the lilies of the field and the birds of the air are cared for, how much more will your heavenly Father take care of you?

Today, cast all of your anxiety on Him by choosing to trust that He is going to take care of you.
Refuse to dwell on your problems and don’t allow them to steal your peace and joy any longer.
Instead, choose to meditate on His Word and confess God’s promises over your life.
Cast your cares on Him and experience His peace, joy and blessing all the days of your life!

Higher Thoughts🤘

As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

Isaiah 55:9

God’s dream for your life is so much bigger than your own.
He wants to bless you and enlarge your territory.
His ways and thoughts are so much higher than ours, and His plan is so much bigger than we can imagine. Choose today to focus on the good things God has in store for you.
Don’t allow the circumstances of life to drag your thoughts down.
Choose God’s thoughts by meditating on His Word.

The Scripture says to “set your mind on things above.” Those “things above” are God’s thoughts and His ways.
Having higher thoughts means thinking, “I am blessed and highly favored.
I am above only and not beneath.
I am the head and not the tail.
I am a victor, not a victim.
I am righteous, and my path shines brighter and brighter to the full day!”

When you allow those higher thoughts to fill your mind, they will direct your steps.
You will see yourself as an overcomer and live the abundant life God has in store for you!
