Sipping crisp pours at Forney Brewing Co. in TX, we chatted with owner Eric Britton—his passion flows as smoothly as his ice-cold beers.

- Oktoberfest: Toasty amber lager, malty aroma, smooth balanced bitterness. 
- Hoppy Brown Ale: Deep brown pour, nutty hops, roasted caramel finish. 
- Czech Style Pilsner: Golden clarity, floral nose, crisp refreshing malt snap.

Hanging out with the Kettle Half Full Brew Crew and tasting their fruit-filled home brewed beer which won the breakfast beer award at this year's Iron Mash competition.

Visiting with Jonathan and Greg, 2 of the geniuses behind the home brewing competition that was held today at near Fort Worth.
It's our first home brewing event and it was really cool to see everyone pondering how to deal with their secret ingredients to make a cocktail inspired beer!
Judging of the beer as well as food pairing will be held around February, hopefully we'll be there!

FINALLY! We made it out to Keyworth Brewing Co in North Richland Hills. We snagged some of their Hootenfest Festbier for our upcoming North Texas Ofest craft beer taste off. Click follow to see it when we release that video.
Kat tried the Halo Kolsch, and it was perfectly balanced with a nice, clean biscuity finish. She also REALLY enjoyed the Amber Ale with pecans called That's Just Nuts (she totally messed that up in the video, both the name and the style... too focused on the nuts, I guess). Ken got the Hootenfest, which is a Festbier that's a bit on the sweet side. He also tried the 3 Benched Hens Belgian Tripel, and it is true to the style, a nice and solid tripel.
