JUNE 2: International Wh**es Day
Let's talk about it! Here I'll be stating ten reasons why you should be behind the decriminalization of s*x work:
1. It respects human rights and dignity
2. it helps guard against violence and abuse
3. it challenges police abuse and violence
4. improves access to justice
5. challenges the consequences of having a criminal record
6. improves access to health service
7. reduces risk of HIV and STIs
8. promotes safe working conditions
9. allows for effective responses to trafficking
10. challenges state control over bodies and s*xuality
