Some opportunities in film coming your way!

1. - The Seminar aims to spotlight artists working in a variety of disciplines related to filmmaking including but not limited to directing, writing, composing, production design, editing, accessibility, and more. Also welcome are proposals offering a theoretical analysis of film as it relates to craft.

2. - The regular
submission period for ends October 4th.

3. - Best Gals is a fun, welcoming, and safe course to learn grip and electric (a.k.a. G&E) taught by Jessica Jastrzebski and Cydney Cox! If you are curious about G&E and want to learn more about it, then this is the perfect class is for you! No prior experience is required.

4. - Step into a weekend of discovery, October 17-19, with 30 events featuring writers, musicians, and activists in conversation, performance, and book clubs. It’s a celebration of ideas, stories, and perspectives from across the globe, right here in Dallas.

5. - Your short film deserves the chance to shine, and our Short Film Fund is here to make it happen. Submit your script before the Regular Deadline on September 30th for the opportunity to secure funding, mentorship, and a pathway to production.

FIRST DAY OF MAP ✅

What a great first day! We had multiple guest speakers come in and offer insight on the inner workings of the Dallas film industry, how neuroscience and marketing coincide and other topics that help lay out the foundation for our students growth. We are looking forward to the next 10 months with our new cohort and are excited to bring yall along!

Pegasus Presents launches a new community film series! Each screening will spotlight a different partnership and theme, with the kickoff event featuring short films from our apprentices and a welcome to the new cohort of the Multimedia Apprenticeship Program (MAP).
