Dear Mimi Lenox and Peace Blogger Family,

I hope this message and my 2024 submission finds you all well. I truly hope you’ll see the intent behind my work, even if it might differ from the usual tone. My enthusiasm is tempered by a deep sense of the contradictions we often live by—holding peace as an ideal while sidestepping the hard truths it requires. I fear I may disappoint with this perspective, but it’s one I feel called to express.

With respect and gratitude for the movement you’ve built,
Jaqi Kioni

“Holding the Light” for the Perfection of Peace | My 2024 Peace Globe

Peace is a fallacy. We prove it every day. We talk about harmony, but our true love lies in chaos, destruction, and separation. We value concepts of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion—beautiful in theory, but abandoned in practice. Our fascination with discord runs deeper, revealing how little we care for genuine unity.

We’re afraid—terrified, actually—of something that doesn’t even exist. The fears we cling to, the false divisions we build, are illusions we hide behind, unwilling to confront what peace would actually demand of us. We’re so invested in this charade that the light of peace remains distant, a faint glimmer obscured by our own contradictions.

Maybe it’s time to let go. Maybe it’s time to let something greater move us toward our highest good. Tomorrow’s final Election Day feels like a chance—a breath of positive feminine energy that could carry us forward, into a new kind of peace. I’ll dwell in that hope, in that possibility. That works for me.

So dear and , as we hold this light together, may we embrace the truth: peace is a relentless futile pursuit. But we do carry the potential to bridge our divisions, to overcome chaos, and to step into a higher vision of unity. This year, let each of us not only hope for peace but commit to becoming its fierce guardians, holding the light steady until we truly decide to make harmony our reality. May this be the year we move with intention into action—because true peace can not be ours to create unless Kingdom comes first. Please prove me wrong and do something to make our hunger for real.

Sorry to disappoint. But I have no enthusiasm for the lies we keep telling each other. ✌🏽

“Family” is often seen as a romantic ideal, but it takes hard work to make the romance a reality. Despite our limitations, our love for each other, and the circumstances life throws at each person separately in the family, we can still make a family work when we put in the effort.

Folks. We’re living on borrowed time.

Put in the effort.

This was taken when I really felt like an artist. 2017. Colette Copeland was my Foundations of Art teacher. Inspired channeling Eliot Porter’s photo-nature gene all day and at night.

After head trauma happened I courted vitamin deficiencies, withdrew from life & isolated to my lair.

Cut off all my hair. Twice.

-Discovering a layer within I hadn’t realized existed. No, not just anxiety, depression & fear, but peace and quiet.

I call it Stage 4 peace and quiet. The kind you can get so much of -it could hasten your demise.

But you won’t let-it. The kind you seek respite from. Even as you change before your very eyes. Physically. Emotionally.

You become more wise in that lair. Your unorganized religion isn’t important anymore.

Things start to hurt there too.

You are grounded and content. No doubts.

But you need out -of doors. It’s winter.

Being so close to the process of aging of your own self for so long should be rewarded. Right!?

Now I understand one particular scripture I have always adored yet innately faithfully known. Really known. But a bizarre “word” that requires individual interpretation, in my opinion. Genesis 3:1.

“And then God, remembered Noah.”

WAITWHUT? God forgot Noah?

No child.

POV: Riding out the storm in a comfort zone. Safe and certain from all alarm.

But we know storms. We know war. We know drama. We know hate. We know disease and we know pain. We know death.

We know so much pain and trauma *we* forget the calm and wait for THE first responder. ALL first responders have a protocol though.

Think about it.

How to get found and rescued?

Stay afloat. Survive long enough. You have your want to live.

Mindset? Willpower. Hold on. Do something. Help the process.

Help others. Forget about yourself.

I’ll bet.. if I started going outside again. Today. In the cold. Even in the dark. In the rain. In the heat… welp lemme think about that heat one lol. Consistently. In nature where I can find it - my backyard… I wonder what will happen?

God will remember I’m here.

Does that make sense?
