Another rainy and cold day in NY city. After an acting session with his coach at the studio, Zaynn wanted to stay back for an hour at the studio to practice piano. Reluctantly, I booked the studio as I had never rented a space before, I am glad I did, coz I got to hear first hand the Fur Elise piece that he has been working on.

It was the perfect music for the weather and the New York City along with the hustle bustle of Times Square.

Life at home and theater lately. Just when you think you have found your favorite musical instrument to play, then you another one. Then you realize that you love music in general. The passion with which he looks at the instruments and takes care of them melts my heart.

So Zaynn outlined bunch of musical instruments he wants for his bday, including harp(I am not sure if we have space for harp).

Thanks to for borrowing us her guitar during our stay in NY.

Zaynn first performance with the live band, it was surreal to watch. Music brings so much joy to Zaynn and for us to watch him grow with his passion and passion grow with him is gratifying.

We had a beautiful night celebrating Ms bday, all the kids were dressed and performed like some of the brilliant singers.

Zaynn picked Bruno Mars “When I was your man”. Zaynn chose to play the keyboard and sing. Everyone was very supportive of his performance. Finally we got the original video of the performance and are able to edit and put it on inst, the reel needed to be under 3min, so we edited and are putting shorter version.

I hope you can see the passion and effort this nine year old put in his performance.

Last week, the Red Bucket Follies Fundraising Campaign was nothing short of magical. Broadway families gathered under one roof to celebrate the campaign’s successful conclusion.

The boys’ performance of “Waiting For Godot Again,” won the prestigious “Best Onstage Performance” award.

“Waiting For Godot” also emerged victorious in the “Raising The Highest Fund” category within the play category.

It was truly a magical moment, and I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations and thanks to everyone involved in making this event a reality.

As Broadwaycares.org aptly described, “With a whirlwind of songs, skits, and dances created by Broadway’s finest, this year’s Res Bucket Follies delivered humor, heart, and theater magic to the legendary New Amsterdam Theater.”

I could go on and on, but I think the pictures and video speak for themselves. They capture the beautiful memories of this unforgettable event.

What do you guys do at the theater? It is the most frequently askes question. Broadway World got a chance to see the life of the boys behind the scene and interviewed them.
This production has been so supportive in their well being and over all development. We couldn’t have been happier with the memories made along with their personal and professional development.

You can hear from their answers how much fun they have backstage, dressing room, theater etc.

Their guardian goes far and beyond to make sure that boys are happy and healthy at the theater. She makes their time memorable in every way possible, from keeping them motivated,excited,happy.

Zaynn was grown so much professionally under this production. They put on shows and plays for the management team, crew, cast, production, stage management etc.

The company has nurtured boys creativity by bringing them supplies, giving them opportunities to represent the show at various platform.

With the show coming to an end, we would like to say this is the beginning of new chapter in boys life. The family that we have built and memories we have made is just growing and keeps getting better.

The boys are THRIVING under this production

And boys are proud to call theater second. Thanks to everyone from theatre who have loved them and provided safe space.

Past couple of weeks have been such an amazing experience for Zaynn, one collaboration after another with incredibly talented, humble, supportive community. We are feeling blessed and grateful of all these beautiful things that can be created on the spot sometimes, with comedic timing, lightning, singing in harmony etc.

Makes us realize we are just a part of this huge puzzle that has finally found its place to create the art.

These series of video shows the amount of love, support, collab etc from the team.

Performed Bruno Mars and the night that and her team put forward was a dream to be part of.

The energy in the room was so joyful. Found an amazing soul who was so supportive of Zaynn, he was the music director of the show and a biggest supporter of the kids.

The audience, the other talents, I could go on.

Bigger than this entire body, but this nine year old is picking one musical instrument after another. The joy in the eyes admiring the guitar.

We have to move back to Texas soon from NY, so his theater teacher borrowed him the guitar, because she wanted could see his passion for music and was dying to move from Ukulele. We were so grateful for his teacher/ guardian at the theater who didn’t have to do it.

Finally able to play with the entire band before the performance day. Felt like Zaynn had been playing with them forever, it was such a flawless collab. One try and they got it with a minor hiccup on one step as Zaynn was still figuring out the pedal of the keyboard and the microphone.

Thank you the band mates for being such a sport.
Cant wait to perform for the audience on Sunday night live. Thanks Ms. Nattalyee for putting this show together.
